Wollaton Hall is a spectacular Tudor building set in over 500 acres of historic deer park. It was designed by Robert Smythson and completed in 1588, and for many years was the home of the Willoughby family.
It is now the home to the city’s Natural History Museum and has recently undergone major restoration work. Wollaton HALL’s Courtyard stables are home to the City’s Industrial Museum, Steam Engine House, Wollaton Visitor Centre and the Yard Gallery.
More recently, Wollaton Hall has played the part of Wayne Manor in the Batman film “The Dark Night Rises”.
